Have you always wanted to have a short budget holiday in Singapore? If you have limited time and money, it can very difficult to plan a trip to Singapore and fully discover what the city has to offer.

In my new 55 page eBook How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500, I will show you how to have a perfect three day, two night budget vacation for two in Singapore.

I know just how HARD planning a budget holiday to Singapore can be.

You need to buy a guide book about Singapore, trawl through it, then identify what are the “must-visit” attractions are.

You need to find out what accommodation, food and transport options you have in Singapore and decide on the most appropriate ones.

You need to pack ALL sorts of stuff for your holiday. You need to consider special travel restrictions. You need to make sure you don’t flout any funny laws in Singapore. You also want to avoid scams and touts while on your holiday.

And perhaps most important of all, you want to have a relaxed and memorable holiday, where you maximize the time you spend in Singapore. You want to have covered all the major tourist attractions, bought some great souvenirs, and also have a great story to tell friends and family back home.

Now, try squeezing all that into a space of three days and within a budget of $500. It’s next to impossible! Especially if you’ve not been to Singapore before.

“It's Like Having Your Own
Local Guide In Singapore!”

My name is Gary and I’m 36 years old. I’m a Singaporean and I’ve lived in Singapore all my life.

I know EVERY nook and cranny in Singapore.

I’ve stayed at the Ritz Carlton and Fullerton hotels and experienced their grandeur.

I’ve stayed at budget hotels like Hotel 81 and know their quality and prices.

I’ve taken the buses, MRT and taxis in Singapore all my life.

I’ve been to all those attractions you read about in guide books and then some.

I’ve seen the worries and thoughts written on the faces of my fellow Singaporeans. I know what makes them tick.

I know why local Singaporeans avoid the “touristy” Newton hawker centre and go to the Chinatown food centre instead.

I know there’s a hidden food center in the Singapore Botanic Gardens that is a hit with many locals.

I know the best place to buy cheap electronics like digital cameras and computer components.

I know where all those hidden flea markets like Bugis Street are located and how you can get all the souvenirs you want, without stepping into the expensive Orchard Road belt.

I’ve sat with the Orangutans in the Singapore Zoo for breakfast and peered at the fishes in the Underwater World in Sentosa.

I’ve admired Peranakan beadwork and embroidery in the Asian Civilisations Museum. I’ve appreciated Southeast Asian art in the halls of the Singapore Art Museum.

I know what taxi surcharges you DON’T want to pay for and how to avoid getting conned when dealing with “shady” retailers in Singapore.

What am I trying to get at here? That I know more about Singapore than you, my dear reader?

Well, actually – YES! That’s exactly what I am trying to get at! I know A LOT about Singapore and its every nook and cranny.

I want to be your “local guide”. I want to share with you what I know about Singapore so that …

You have a relaxed and memorable holiday.

You will maximize the three days and two nights you spend in Singapore.

You spend ONLY $500 for two people. And even have some extra cash to spare.

"Ok, I'm Curious. So What Special Secrets Can You Tell Me About Planning A Budget Holiday
To Singapore?"

In my eBook How To Spend 3 Days In
Singapore For Under $500 will show you how to have a perfect three day, two night holiday in Singapore.

You hardly have to research or plan anything, because I’ve done it all for you!

Here’s a portion of my Table of Contents in the eBook. Each section in the 55 pages is explained in painstaking detail, with over 31 full-color photos of Singapore.

I show you what preparatory activities you need to do before you leave home. Check those travel documents. Know what numbers to call in case you run into trouble in Singapore. Pack in all the necessities you will need when traveling.

Once you get to Singapore, I will show you exactly what you need to do. Step out of the plane, freshen up at the toilet and step past the immigration counters. Quickly flag an taxi so that you can get to the hotel and rest.

We then begin our tour proper. We have only three days, so we want to follow a good timetable and cover as many “must-visit” attractions as possible. I’ll show you how to do this. And I mean REALLY how to do it.

For example, I'll provide you with a detailed timetable showing you where to go and what time to do it. You can see a screenshot of this below.

I'll show you the best times to visit an attraction and any special discounts or deals it has.

I'll tell you which MRT stations to stop at.

I'll tell you which places to stop over and eat good and cheap food.

I'll also reveal the most logical route to take when visiting places of interest on Day 1, 2 and 3.

Most guidebooks give you a smattering of interesting attractions but don’t tell you how to get from one to the other. They don’t “guide” you through the detailed itinerary.

This guide is different. For example, it would not make sense to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens (in central Singapore), head to the Night Safari (in the north), then go to the Jurong BirdPark (in the west). You’d be traveling too much and waste time criss-crossing the island!

I plan the routes for you so that you cover everything in a logical, efficient manner, e.g. cover west and central Singapore (Jurong BirdPark and the Botanic Gardens) on Day 1, then leave the Night Safari for Day 2.

Here’s a screenshot of a page telling you more about Little India and its interesting sights and sounds:

Here’s a picture of a page which teaches you some tips and tricks about accommodation and transportation in
Singapore.

Here’s another screenshot of a page about Sim Lim Square (Singapore’s hottest electronics store), as well as information about the Asian Civilizations Museum.

How Can I Best Spend My Time?

“I Don't Want To Spend Too Much Money In Singapore. Tell Me About The Cheapest
Value-for-Money Deals!”

A limited budget is usually the next thing visitors to Singapore are concerned about.

Make no mistake, Singapore is one of the most highly developed countries in Asia.

It is incredibly expensive to stay in Singapore and zip around having a holiday. A stay at a four-star hotel will cost you almost $300 per night. I am NOT KIDDING you. In my opinion, that is not value-for-money.

So most people who visit Singapore on a budget like to check into budget hotels. But budget hotels – as I’m sure you’ll know – are a dime a dozen in any city in the world.

Many of them are low quality shops hastily put up by owners who want to cash in on tourists’ money. They may boast super cheap room rates of under $50, but are located in sleazy areas like Geylang. You will NOT want to stay in these hotels.

So what do you do? The best thing is to discover some “hidden gems” in the budget hotel world. These places provide high-quality rooms with full-range services and facilities. Yet they charge a very reasonable rate per night.

I’ve located one such hotel which is largely unknown to tourists but has been rated again and again by my overseas friends as one of the best value hotels in Singapore.

And it’s not just about accommodation!

There are things like food, shopping, transportation and charges for entering attractions – these all add up to your costs.

Again, your problems are solved. I will show you where to eat cheap but good food. There are many places in Singapore which overcharge tourists who want to taste authentic local food. Newton Hawker Centre is known to be one such place (yes, avoid it!). In my sample itinerary, in between visiting attractions, I’ll tell you where you should go to get authentic local food at cheap prices.

The same thing applies to transportation. You often get unscrupulous taxi drivers who overcharge you, or try to get around the system to squeeze more tourist dollars from you. DO NOT BE A VICTIM. I will show you how.

Attractions charge pretty high prices for entry. BUT there’s a bright side – some places (e.g. the Singapore Flyer) give very solid discounts for tourists. You DEFINITELY want to know about these. Again, I will reveal them to you in my eBook.

So if you want to save money in Singapore and limit your expenditure to $500 for a three day, two night stay, then read my eBook and listen to what I have to say.

If you think about it, $500 is an AMAZING DEAL because it includes accommodation, food, transportation, entry charges to attractions. I’ve even set aside some allowance for “emergency cash” and shopping expenses.

Read How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500 and you will:

I’ll Be So Tired Once I Land In Singapore –
How Do I Get To The Hotel As Fast As Possible?

This is a very common question posed by readers on my website. Imagine that you’ve just flown halfway across the world and landed in Singapore.

You will be supremely tired and edgy.

The last thing you want to do is to deal with problems at the immigration counter. Or worse, deal with things like lost luggage or travel documents.

You also do not want taxi drivers who tout and overcharge you. Or spend hours going around Singapore and fail to reach your hotel.

In How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500, you’ll see how to get to your hotel room as fast as you can. Here’s what you’ll learn:

Find out exactly what to do when you land in Singapore

Quickly move past the queues and find out where to get a legitimate taxi.

Some taxi drivers will overcharge you – I’ll show you how to avoid them

Avoid being cheated by touts who might offer your taxi rides or
vacation packages at exorbitant prices

What is the fastest way to the hotel from the airport

The most critical things to do when moving past the Singapore immigration counters

How to take in some interesting sights of Singapore while moving from the airport to your hotel

How Do You Get Around Singapore Efficiently?
I Don’t Want To Waste Time Commuting From One Attraction To The Next.

One of Singapore’s strengths is its efficient transport system. From the public bus, to the MRT and taxis, you can easily get from one part of the island to another. Most cab rides should take you only 30 minutes at most.

You should be careful, however. There are some details you need to take note of, e.g. taxi surcharges that kick in after midnight, certain bus routes that don’t run at night, the times that the MRT system closes down.

Read How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500 to find out:

The MOST popular way to get around Singapore

The WORST way to get around Singapore. Do this and you will
spend almost all of your 3 days in Singapore wandering around and wasting time.

How to save a ton of money in public transport around Singapore

How to detect and avoid being cheated by taxis that overcharge you

How to save time when traveling by the subway in Singapore

Find out how to obtain a full color, detailed map of the subway system in Singapore for FREE

What are the travel options to avoid (i.e. particularly those that take up too much time)

What’s The Best Way To Cover The Attractions
In Singapore? There Are Just Too Many Of Them!

Singapore has a LOT of attractions and places of interest to offer the average visitor. It can be overwhelming to the new visitor who may not know where to begin their tour of Singapore.

What I do in my eBook How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500 is to provide you with a detailed itinerary that you can follow to the letter. You will then know exactly where to go, where to eat and at what time you should be at any particular attraction.

This obviously saves you a lot of time and hassle trying to figure out where to go next.

Here’s what you will learn:

Receive blow-by-blow accounts of attractions you MUST visit in Singapore

Obtain a good review of each attraction. I’ll provide you with a synopsis of each attraction you will be visiting so you understand it’s background

Understand the opening hours of each attraction. You definitely don’t want to get there and find it closed! Believe me, this happens A LOT.

Understand the admission charges of each attraction. Don’t trust the charges quoted in travel guidebooks. They are usually outdated. Learn about the REAL, up-to-date charges imposed on visitors.

Learn about special discounts on attractions that are offered ONLY to tourists. Take advantage of these to save a ton of money!

Learn how to get to each attraction in the fastest way possible. I will tell you exactly which bus number or subway station to stop at so you absolutely know where to go.

Obtain some useful resources about each attraction. There are some interesting media (e.g. brochures, maps and even fun games) that you can download for each attraction – I’ll point you to these and more.

Learn about the BEST garden area in Singapore

Learn about the BEST beach resort in Singapore (trust me, this is not immediately obvious to many visitors as Singapore is a urban jungle full of skyscrapers)

Discover historical monuments and attractions that many travel guidebooks will NOT tell you about. These might be difficult to find and only locals will know where they are.

"I Want To Try Out Authentic Singaporean Food.
Not Some Tourist Grade Stuff.

Well, I knew you’d ask about food. Singapore is a food lover’s paradise – but trying to find authentic local food is next to impossible if you don’t know a local Singaporean.

There are many tourist grade joints in Singapore, such as Newton Circus and Lau Pa Sat. However, these usually don’t serve real, authentic Singapore food.

In my eBook, I’ll show you:

Where to find truly authentic Singaporean food. Don’t go to an expensive restaurant just to try Singaporean chicken rice, roti prata or char kway teow. Go for the real thing! Head for the best hawker centers that sell this type of food.

Avoid being ripped off by touts. There are some tourist spots in Singapore where food stall operators will attempt to overcharge you – avoid them at all costs

How to find tasty local treats you can’t find at home. These are items that Singaporeans eat on a daily basis and they taste – in a word – WONDERFUL.

The best eating places that even Singaporeans go. If a Singaporean frequents an eating area, you can be SURE it is a good place. I’ll show you where to find some of these places.

How to save money on food. By going to the places I recommend, you will easily pay up to half price for the food. And what’s more it will be authentic local cuisine, not some overpriced tourist grade meal.

Exactly where to go for food so you don’t have to spend time searching on your own. Trust me, when you’re out visiting attractions, you need all the time you can get.

Where to savor the best in Chinese, Indian, Malay, Western and fusion food. In each day of your itinerary, you will be able to sample some or all of the above types of food.

Why food is such a large part of Singapore’s culture and how you can best experience it

"Where Can I Find The Best
Shopping Bargains In Singapore?

Shopping is a national pastime in Singapore. For the tourist, there is a huge variety of goods to buy back home – the most popular being textiles, artwork and electronics.

The problem with shopping in Singapore is that you may not know which shops are overcharging you and which are offering good deals.

Well, problem solved! In my eBook, I identify all the best places (like flea markets) where you can get value-for-money deals for all sorts of goods.

For example, Bugis Street or Arab Street are great for being textiles or clothes, while Sim Lim Square and Funan Centre are known to be fabulous for buying electronics and computer parts.

By reading How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500, you will:

Locate the major shopping malls in Singapore, along with the most obscure flea markets

Find the best places to get cheap Singapore souvenirs and avoid paying steep prices

Find out where you can haggle and bargain to get the best deals in electronics, textiles, jewelry, art, antiques and all sorts of other items

Learn how to best use your credit card while doing your shopping here in Singapore.

Learn about hidden sales charges and taxes that you should be aware of. Some items sold in Singapore contain hidden costs even though they seem to have a cheap price tag.

Discover the hidden “sales” that are held throughout the year so you can save even more money while shopping

Learn how to easily get exchanges or refunds for faulty items you purchase, especially computers and consumer electronics

Be able to save money on shopping and spend more visiting attractions instead

Find out what are the best tips and tricks for getting a good bargain in Singapore

Feel great for snapping up all sorts of bargains during your trip to Singapore

Find out where to get the best consumer electronics in Singapore. Singapore is an absolute haven for consumer electronics but you will want to be careful and avoid getting ripped off. Trust me, there are a LOT of scam artists out there who overcharge you for electronics.

"Help, I Lost All My Money! Who Can I Call?

One of the most traumatic experiences you can have while on a holiday is to lose all your money or luggage. Getting stuck in a foreign land with no cash or clothes is NOT a good situation to be in.

I’ve seen too many of these things happen to my friends – as a result, I’ve compiled a set of emergency numbers and information that will come in very handy in case of emergencies.

In my eBook How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500, you will learn all the emergency numbers and information you need in case any mishaps occur.

You will find out the numbers for dialing the police, fire engines, taxis, buses, the subway, flight numbers, embassies and much more.

You will discover exactly who to call in case of emergencies. Whether it is a medical, financial or other emergency, I have all the correct numbers to call clearly spelt out for you in a simple pull-out guide.

"But I Want Even More Sample Itineraries!
I Want To Visit This (And That) Other
Attraction …

I know many visitors to Singapore want to have multiple itineraries suggested for them. Sometimes what is suitable for one may not be suitable for another.

I hear you loud and clear.

So I’ve thrown in even more itineraries for your reference – three more itineraries, to be exact.

With these multiple itineraries:

You can mix and match different sights and sounds depending on your interest and taste.

You can even return to Singapore again one day and try out another itinerary.

No two itineraries are the same – I’ve done my best to list out different places of interest so you get to see different flavors of Singapore

Whether you want to see the old or modern Singapore, or a mix of the East and West, I have a suitable itinerary for you

Each of these itineraries are in simple, handy pull-out format – making it easy for you to carry around during your trip

Each itinerary is also self-contained. You will get all the information you need – exactly what time to visit what attraction, how to get there, how much the taxi or subway fee should be, what the entrance fees are, what food you can eat and how much it costs, and much, much more.

And remember, each one of my itineraries is still below our target budget of $500. Each is designed to save you money while maximizing your tour experience in Singapore.

"I’m Using Singapore As A Base To Explore
Southeast Asia. Do You Know Some Good
Places To Visit In The Region?

If it’s your first time in Southeast Asia, then no doubt you’d want to explore not just Singapore, but the surrounding countries as well. Some popular places include Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Bangkok in Thailand.

In my eBook How To Spend 3 Days In Singapore For Under $500, I’ll show you some time-tested day trips that you can make in Southeast Asia, using Singapore as a base.

You will be able to:

Make the most of your time in Southeast Asia by visiting not just Singapore but all sorts of other countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Save a LOT of money while touring the region because you are using touring all of Southeast Asia at once, rather than coming back to the region multiple times.

Save on your flight expenses – come to Southeast Asia once, explore all the countries you want using Singapore as a base. Don’t spend thousands of dollars flying back to this region if you don’t have to.

Discover all the major cities in Southeast Asia Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh (i.e. Saigon), Phnom Penh, Manila, etc.

Discover places you want to see in-depth again, so you can target these places when you return to Southeast Asia in the future

Go around the region if you’re tired of the attractions within Singapore

Fly out of Singapore to neighboring countries and back within the same day. Singapore is the central hub of Southeast Asia – using it as a base will essentially enable you to explore all of the region within a week if you want to.

Find out which are the hottest places to visit in Southeast Asia – I will reveal all these gems to you.

"Bah! All That Information Is Available
From Frommer’s And Lonely Planet!

Trust me, those Frommer’s and Lonely Planet guide books, online websites and forums do not provide the right kind of information for a budget holiday to Singapore.

I’ve checked them before – they give information all right, but generic information. LOTS of generic information.

They don’t have specific instructions on how to navigate your way around Singapore.

They don’t know about hidden gems like hawker centers the locals like to visit. Or special deals or discounts you can get when visiting some attractions.

Very few of these guide books and online resources deliver a detailed itinerary, specifying exactly what to do hour to hour. Where to eat. What to see next and how to get there quickly and efficiently.

Even fewer of them tell teach you to stay within a strict budget of $500.

Why is this so? Because many of these guides are not written by Singaporeans!

They are also forced by the publishing houses to “conform” to specific types of content, so they can’t reveal to you all the secrets of Singapore
